Breakfast at Tiffanys Inspired Loaded Envelope

Here you see a Breakfast at Tiffanys mini Loaded Envelope filled with tags, wands altered paperclips and more. I loved the combination of the brown and teal paper.
This was actually the first mini loaded envelope I made and I was delighted with how it turned out.

Easy and Quick Make

A simple and easy card using a cardstock base matted and layered with co ordinating papers and topped with a vintage emphemera tag with an added diecut birdhouse in glittered paper (  die available from Crafters Companion) and some frayed ribbon to complete the project.

Birthday Loaded Envelope

A quick and easy gift for a friend. A Bithday Loaded Envelope. I added earrings , a feather pen which doubled as a wand element, and a lip balm set as presents with a birthday card and some vintage emphemera to fill up the spaces in the pockets. I made the envelope with glittered cardstock and added 2 pockets.  I added a Birthday stamped image. I bought the stamp from Unity stamps. Finally added some vintage lace and some word beads which read Make a Wish for the completed look.

Loaded Envelope Creating

I have recently discovered Loaded Envelopes. What a joy to create and fill. I have joined a couple of themed swaps recently. Here is a Breakfast at Tiffanys mini loaded envelope I created using brown and teal cardstock which is a gorgeous colour scheme.

I added a  couple of wands, flatback pearls and even used a nail varnish type bottle ( which originally came with a set of nails in it )  to create a shaker bottle which matched in with the theme,  I altered paperclips and added beautiful flowers from my stash and made some simple tags using images from the film.
The recipient loved it and I was sad to send it away as I loved it so much but wanted to gift it and create smiles for someone else.

I played around with the fabulous, Tap Tap Tap stamp set  and Gorgeous Grunge , and two of the wonderful ink colours available in the stamp pads, Pool Party and Crumb Cake to create this quick and easy card.

Who knew that paper and card could produce a typewriter !!

Its a friend's birthday tomorrow, she works in the office where I work , what other gift box would you give but a trusty vintage typewriter.  I cranked up the Silhouette Cameo and cut the pieces required to make this project.

It takes time and a bit of concentration as you have to line up and glue correctly to let the typewriters shape to form.

I added my own sentiment to look like it had been freshly typed on ther and voila!  a gift box which  you cannot buy in the shops.  Thats the beauty of handmade, creating projects you cannot buy anywhere else.

I hope she loves it.
